Psychology (discipline)

Psychology and its numerous sub-disciplines represent a fundamental field of research and practice in relation with emergent phenomena, as many of these directly involve and impact human psychology.

Important branches of psychology, including humanistic psychology, transpersonal psychology, and positive psychology, have attempted to integrate the deep-end of human experience and transformation into mainstream circles and psychotherapeutic contexts, much like the EmergeWiki and the EPRC are trying to do.

In the context of health research, particularly clinical trials, but also for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes, psychometric and clinical scales are often an important tool.
