Traditions:Forms of spiritual emergency

The notion of Spiritual Emergency refers to critical forms of spiritual emergence - they are also called "transformational crises". There is some overlap with the Categories of non-ordinary states of consciousness, however the spiritual emergencies are not reducible to these. This typology is very close to the one proposed by Yaden & Newberg (2022), although it includes energetic experiences and excludes experiences of god. This version is somewhat syncretic and idiosyncratic, more so than Yaden and Newberg's typology.
