As described in Corneille & Luke (2021),<blockquote>The 11-Dimensional Altered States of Consciousness Rating Scale (11D-ASC; Studerus et al., 2010), is a 42-item scale, developed from the 94-item 5-Dimensional Altered States of Consciousness Rating Scale (5D-ASC) (Dittrich, 1998) to measure the intensity of ASCs.</blockquote>As such, it is essentially as shorter version of the 5D-ASC that was re-factored into and alternative, expanded set of dimensions. Studerus et al. (2010) note that the new lower order scales are most likely better suited to assess drug induced ASC.
